This Hazy IPA delivers a punchy tropical profile, living up to its name with a dominant mango-forward character. At 7.2% ABV, the beer presents an intense bouquet of stone fruit and citrus, driven by a complex blend of New World hops that harmonize into a juicy experience. The sensory profile is defined by a soft, pillowy texture and a vibrant, opaque glow. A neutral, grainy malt backbone supports the heavy dry-hopping without competing, while the fermentation provides subtle fruity esters that enhance the overall depth. It finishes with a smooth, restrained bitterness and a lingering tropical sweetness.
Appearance. Opaque, straw-gold with a subtle orange hue and a characteristic hazy glow. Features a dense, meringue-like white head with excellent retention and thick lacing.
Aroma. High-intensity aroma dominated by ripe mango, passion fruit, and bright citrus. The malt presence is low and neutral, providing a clean, bready base. No detectable caramel or toast; fermentation esters are fruity and well-integrated with the hop profile.
Taste. Massive tropical hop flavors of mango and peach lead the palate. The malt flavor is low, primarily grainy and supportive. Bitterness is medium-low and smooth, never harsh. The balance is heavily skewed toward hop expression with an off-dry finish and a lingering fruit-juice aftertaste.
Mouthfeel. Medium-full body with a soft, smooth, and slightly creamy texture. Carbonation is moderate. A gentle alcohol warmth is present but well-integrated, contributing to a substantial yet drinkable feel without any astringency.
