Peckham Helles is a refreshing, gluten-free interpretation of the classic Munich Helles. This lager pours straw yellow and crystal clear, anchored by a delicate grainy-sweet malt foundation. The addition of Hallertau Mittelfrüh hops imparts a refined herbal spice and soft floral notes, which are uniquely accented by subtle, light fruity yeast esters. The palate is characterized by a restrained bitterness that perfectly balances the initial malt sweetness, resulting in a clean and crisp finish. It is a highly moreish, sessionable beer that captures the elegant, rounded character of traditional Bavarian brewing while maintaining a modern, approachable edge.

Appearance. Straw yellow (3 SRM). Crystal clear with high brilliance and a persistent, creamy white head that leaves light lacing.

Aroma. Moderate grainy-sweet malt aroma reminiscent of fresh bread. Low to moderately-low spicy and herbal hop character from Hallertau Mittelfrüh. Features a clean fermentation profile with subtle, light fruity esters and no DMS or diacetyl.

Taste. Moderately malty start with a suggestion of grainy sweetness. Malt flavor is soft and rounded, supported by a low bitterness. Light herbal and spicy hop flavors are noticeable but secondary to the malt. Finishes clean and dry with a refreshing, short aftertaste of pale grain.

Mouthfeel. Medium-light body with moderate carbonation. Smooth and well-lagered character with no alcohol warmth or astringency.
