This celebratory Triple IPA delivers an explosive sensory experience, saturated with an intense, pulpy mango character that dominates the profile. A foundation of clean, grainy malt supports a massive hop presence, showcasing layers of tropical fruit and resinous pine typical of a bold American IPA. At 10% alcohol by volume, there is a smooth, integrated warmth that enhances the fruit’s richness. The finish is surprisingly dry for its massive strength, leaving a lingering, firm bitterness and a bright citrus zest on the palate. It is a high-intensity ale that balances lush fruit density with a sharp, hoppy edge.
Appearance. Deep gold to pale amber with a persistent, thick, off-white head that leaves heavy lacing. A noticeable haze is present due to the heavy fruit addition and high hopping rate.
Aroma. High intensity aroma of fresh, ripe mango and tropical fruit. Strong hop notes of grapefruit zest and resinous pine. Low grainy malt sweetness provides a neutral backdrop, while a clean fermentation profile allows the fruit and hops to shine, accompanied by a soft, warming alcohol note.
Taste. Initial impression is a burst of succulent mango followed by high hop flavors of citrus and stone fruit. High bitterness provides a firm counterpoint to the fruit density. Clean, low grainy malt flavors are present but secondary. The finish is medium-dry with a lingering, hoppy, and slightly resinous aftertaste, supported by a clean alcohol presence.
Mouthfeel. Medium-full body with a smooth, velvety texture. Carbonation is moderate. Significant but smooth alcohol warmth is present, without any harshness or fusel heat.
