This Double IPA captures the essence of a modern high-gravity hop showcase, balancing a robust 9% ABV with a surprisingly refreshing profile. The aroma is dominated by intense, ripe tropical fruit notes—think pineapple, mango, and passion fruit—supported by a clean, neutral malt base. On the palate, the mouth-filling character described by Brewski translates into a smooth, medium body that leads with vibrant stone fruit and citrus hop flavors. A firm, long-lasting bitterness provides a clean counterpoint to the subtle alcohol warmth, ensuring a dry and crisp finish that masks its strength and invites another sip.

Appearance. Deep gold to light orange-copper (7-10 SRM). Features a moderate-sized, persistent off-white head with excellent lacing. Clarity is good, with only a very slight, translucent haze typical of heavy dry-hopping.

Aroma. High-intensity hop presence featuring prominent notes of overripe mango, guava, and citrus zest. A light, clean, grainy-sweet malt presence sits in the background, providing a neutral canvas. Low fruity esters from fermentation and a hint of smooth, clean alcohol are present.

Taste. Strong and complex hop flavors mirroring the tropical fruit and resinous aroma. Malt character is supportive and soft, lacking heavy caramel or toast. Bitterness is firm and assertive but lacks harshness. The finish is dry to medium-dry, leaving a lingering, clean hop bitterness and a touch of fruit on the palate.

Mouthfeel. Medium body with a smooth, velvety texture. Carbonation is moderate-high, providing a lively prickle. A noticeable but well-integrated alcohol warmth glows without being solventy or hot. No perceptible astringency.
