Brewski’s Passionfeber is a vibrant American IPA that emphasizes the aromatic intensity of real passionfruit. It pours a very pale yellow with a slight haze and a resilient, compact head. The sensory experience is dominated by sharp citrus and lush tropical fruit notes, where the natural tartness of passionfruit melds with the bold American hop character. Despite its 7% ABV, the beer remains remarkably crisp. The initial palate burst of fruit quickly yields to a firm, clean bitterness and a very dry, resinous finish, exemplifying a modern, fruit-forward take on the style while maintaining a classic, hop-centric backbone.
Appearance. Pale yellowish-gold (4-6 SRM); slightly hazy with abundant, compact, and long-lasting white foam; excellent head retention.
Aroma. High intensity; dominant tropical passionfruit and sharp citrus aromatics; low grainy-sweet malt presence; very clean fermentation profile with no significant esters or phenols.
Taste. Immediate impact of tart passionfruit and citrus hop flavors; medium-high to high bitterness that overtakes the fruit mid-palate; low, neutral grainy malt support; finishes very dry with a lingering, clean hop bitterness and a touch of fruit skin.
Mouthfeel. Medium-light body; moderate to high carbonation; smooth texture with a light, well-integrated alcohol warmth; no harshness or astringency.
