Mangofeber is a vibrant Double IPA that showcases an assertive marriage of succulent mango and potent hopping. As a modern interpretation of the style, it leads with an intense, sweet mango aroma that merges seamlessly with citrusy and resinous hop notes. The palate is defined by a firm, high bitterness that balances the fruit’s natural lushness, supported by a clean, neutral malt base. At 8% ABV, it provides a smooth, well-integrated warmth without sacrificing its drying, refreshing finish. Appearance. Gold to light orange-copper (approx. 8-12 SRM). Features a moderate-sized, persistent off-white head with good lacing. While the style allows for clarity, a slight haze is present due to the mango addition.

Aroma. High to intense intensity, dominated by ripe, sweet mango. Supported by prominent American hop characteristics of citrus, pine, and tropical fruit. Malt is low and neutral-grainy in the background. Clean fermentation profile with a subtle, smooth alcohol note.

Taste. Initial impression is fruit-forward with complex mango and tropical hop flavors. High bitterness provides a firm structure that cuts through the fruit, yet remains smooth and lacks harshness. Malt character is low and unobtrusive. The finish is medium-dry with a lingering, clean hoppy bitterness and mango aftertaste.

Mouthfeel. Medium body with a smooth, soft texture. Carbonation is medium-high. A restrained, smooth alcohol warmth is present but well-integrated. No harsh hop-derived astringency.
