This Hazy IPA collaboration between Brewski and Monkish Brewing Co. exemplifies the modern juicy aesthetic, delivering an intense sensory experience. A vibrant bouquet of tropical fruit dominates the profile, led by aromas of ripe mango, pulpy orange, and white peach. The malt character remains supportive and clean, providing a soft, bready foundation that allows the massive late-addition hop oils to shine. On the palate, the bitterness is remarkably restrained, focused instead on a saturated fruit juice expression that lingers into an off-dry, smooth finish. It is a refined example of the style, balancing high flavor density with a remarkably soft, pillowy texture and approachable character.
Appearance. Straw to light gold with an opaque, luminous haze; thick, rocky white head with high retention and meringue-like lacing.
Aroma. High intensity aromatics of mango, pineapple, and citrus zest; clean, lightly bready malt in the background with supportive fruity esters and no detectable hop harshness.
Taste. High tropical and stone fruit hop flavors including peach and passion fruit; low to medium-low perceived bitterness; light bready malt flavor; off-dry finish with a lingering, smooth fruitiness.
Mouthfeel. Medium-full, soft, and pillowy body; moderate carbonation; smooth with no astringency and a very light, well-integrated alcohol warmth.
