This German Helles Exportbier offers a sophisticated balance between a crisp, refreshing character and a slightly more substantial body than a standard Helles. Brewed with traditional German hops, it presents a distinctive bouquet of herbal and grassy notes that complement the moderate grainy-sweetness of the Pilsner malt base. Being unfiltered and unpasteurized, it retains a rustic, fresh-from-the-tank vibrancy and a rounder mouthfeel. The palate experiences a smooth transition from bready malt flavors to a firm, clean bitterness, finishing dry with a lingering mineral roundness. It successfully bridges the gap between a sessionable lager and a more robust pale ale while maintaining a clean lager profile.

Appearance. Medium yellow to deep gold (4–6 SRM). This unfiltered version displays a slight, uniform haze rather than brilliant clarity. It is topped by a persistent, dense white head with good lacing.

Aroma. Moderate intensity featuring a clean, grainy-sweet malt presence with light bready and doughy undertones. Pronounced herbal and grassy hop notes from the German hops provide a fresh, spicy counterpoint. Clean fermentation profile with no yeast-derived esters or phenols.

Taste. Initial impression is balanced and smooth. Flavors of bready Pilsner malt are matched by distinct herbal and grassy hop character.
