Brewski Helsingbräu Premium Pilsner is a clean, gluten-free expression of the classic German Pils style. It pours a brilliant straw-gold, radiating a crisp, refreshing profile. The aroma is defined by moderately high notes of spicy and herbal German hops, supported by a delicate, doughy Pilsner malt foundation that suggests lightly toasted crackers. On the palate, a brief wave of grainy sweetness is swiftly balanced by a firm, assertive bitterness that carries through to a bone-dry, mineral-accentuated finish. This highly carbonated lager remains light on its feet, offering a sharp, revitalizing snap that makes it exceptionally drinkable despite the lack of gluten.
Appearance. Straw to brilliant yellow (2–4 SRM). Features a dense, creamy, long-lasting white head with excellent lacing and crystal-clear clarity.
Aroma. Moderate to moderately high intensity. Dominant floral and spicy hop character. Low grainy-sweet malt presence with hints of dough and fresh crackers. Exceptionally clean fermentation profile without esters or diacetyl.
Taste. Initial light grainy malt flavor quickly suppressed by a medium-high hop bitterness. Flavors of spicy and herbal hops are prominent. Finishes very dry and crisp with a lingering, clean bitterness and a slight flinty minerality in the aftertaste.
Mouthfeel. Medium-light body with a brisk, high carbonation level. Refreshing and crisp without any harshness; exhibits a clean, light mouth-coating quality and no alcohol warmth.
