Brewski Frosty reimagines the classic Berliner Weisse as a decadent, fruit-forward sensory experience. The sharp, clean lactic acidity of the base beer provides a bright stage for a deep, vinous blend of tart cherries and earthy blackcurrants. This bracing acidity is elegantly softened by the creamy, vanilla-and-almond richness of tonka beans and a subtle, warming flicker of cinnamon. The result is a vibrant balance between refreshing citrusy sourness and lush, dark fruit depth. Despite the modest alcohol content, the integration of aromatic spices and stone fruits creates a complex, dessert-like profile that remains crisp and highly effervescent on the palate.

Appearance. Deep ruby to violet in color (approx. 18-22 SRM) from heavy fruit additions; slightly hazy to opaque. Forms a frothy, light-pink head with poor to moderate retention; highly effervescent with visible rising bubbles.

Aroma. High intensity of sharply sour lactic acid. Dominant aromas of tart cherry and earthy blackcurrant are layered over a subtle, doughy wheat malt base. Distinctive secondary notes of vanilla and marzipan from the tonka beans, complemented by a soft, woody cinnamon spice. No hop aroma.

Taste. Initial impression is a clean, puckering lactic sourness followed immediately by intense tart cherry and dark berry flavors. A low, bready wheat malt provides a brief structural support. Tonka beans contribute a smooth, sweet-leaning character reminiscent of vanilla and nutmeg, while cinnamon adds a faint spice warmth. Hop bitterness is undetectable; the finish is very dry and acidic with a lingering, tannic fruit skin aftertaste.

Mouthfeel. Medium-light body with a slight creaminess from the wheat and tonka beans. Very high carbonation creates a lively, spritzy mouthfeel. No significant alcohol warmth, though the cinnamon provides a mild tingle. Highly crisp and acidic.
