Brewski πWasser Pilsner is a classic expression of the German Pils style, emphasizing a crisp and refreshing structure. The sensory profile is defined by traditional German hops, which impart clear herbal and grassy notes against a backdrop of clean, grainy Pilsner malt. Despite its unfiltered nature, the beer maintains a lean, highly attenuated body that leads to a notably dry and bitter finish. This lager balances moderate hop intensity with a subtle doughy malt sweetness, creating a quintessential sessionable experience. The unpasteurized quality ensures the delicate hop aromatics remain vibrant and fresh, while the firm bitterness lingers pleasantly on the palate.
Appearance. Straw to deep yellow (2–4 SRM). Features a slight haze due to being unfiltered, crowned by a creamy, long-lasting white head with excellent lacing.
Aroma. Moderate to moderately-high intensity featuring prominent herbal and grassy hop character. Underlying malt notes of grainy-sweet crackers and light dough. Exceptionally clean fermentation profile with no esters or diacetyl.
Taste. Initial light grainy malt sweetness is rapidly overtaken by a firm, assertive hop bitterness. Flavors of dried herbs and fresh grass dominate the mid-palate. Finishes very dry and crisp with a lingering, clean bitterness and a touch of flinty minerality.
Mouthfeel. Medium-light body with high carbonation that provides a prickly, refreshing scrub on the tongue. No alcohol warmth; crisp and clean without any harshness or astringency.
