BreWskey’s ORBITAL is a vibrant sensory showcase of New Zealand terroir, delivering a punchy aromatic profile built on a trio of specialized hops. The aroma is led by the pungent grapefruit and tropical passion fruit of Riwaka, layered with the bright lemon zest and subtle piney spice provided by Southern Cross. NZ Cascade adds a familiar floral citrus depth, grounding the more exotic tropical notes. On the palate, a lean, grainy malt base allows these intense hop characters to shine, finishing with a firm bitterness and a refreshing dryness. It is a clean, modern American IPA that balances high aromatic impact with a crisp, drinkable structure.

Appearance. Deep gold to light reddish-amber (approx. 7–9 SRM) with slight haze allowable but generally clear. Features a medium-sized, off-white head with excellent persistence and intricate lacing.

Aroma. High intensity hop aroma featuring tropical passion fruit, lime zest, and grapefruit. Supportive clean, grainy maltiness is low. Clean fermentation profile with very low esters and a hint of resinous pine and spicy peppercorn from the New Zealand hop varieties.

Taste. Initial hop-forward impression of citrus and tropical fruit. Medium-high bitterness is prominent but clean. Low grainy malt flavor with a touch of toast supports the hops. Finishes medium-dry to dry with a lingering hoppy and bitter aftertaste. No harshness or heavy caramel notes.

Mouthfeel. Medium body with a smooth, clean texture. Medium-high carbonation. A very light, smooth alcohol warmth is present but well-integrated, consistent with its 6.8% ABV.
