This Hazy IPA is a vibrant sensory collision where tropical depth meets lush raspberry jam. A foundation of 2-row, flaked oats, and malted wheat creates a soft, pillowy canvas for a complex hop profile. Bright notes of citrus and mango from Citra and Mosaic are elevated by the zesty orange character of Mandarina Bavaria and the stone fruit essence of Amarillo. The addition of fresh raspberry integrates seamlessly, providing a tart, jammy berry aroma that intertwines with the succulent tropical hop oils. It finishes with a delicate, fruit-forward sweetness and a smooth, restrained bitterness that emphasizes pure refreshment and a succulent, juicy character.
Appearance. Pours a glowing, hazy straw to light amber with a soft pinkish-orange hue from the raspberry infusion. It is nearly opaque with a radiant shine, topped by a dense, rocky, meringue-like white head with a faint pink tint and excellent retention.
Aroma. High intensity hop and fruit aroma. Dominant notes of fresh raspberry jam and tropical fruits like passionfruit and mango. Secondary citrus notes of tangerine and lemon zest are present, supported by a clean, lightly bready malt background. No caramel or toast is present.
Taste. Massive fruity hop flavors lead the palate, featuring ripe pineapple and citrus peel alongside a distinct, tart raspberry character. The malt provides a neutral, slightly grainy sweetness that balances the hop-derived tropicality. Bitterness is low to moderate, providing just enough structure without being harsh. The finish is soft and off-dry with lingering berry notes and no hop resin.
Mouthfeel. Medium body with a very smooth, soft texture attributed to the flaked oats and wheat. Carbonation is moderate, contributing to a refreshing lift. There is a noticeable but well-integrated alcohol warmth, with no astringency or harshness on the finish.
