Brewery Lubrow CoMango offers a tropical reimagining of the classic Weissbier. The sensory experience is anchored by a traditional base of soft, doughy wheat and bready Pilsner malt, providing a clean canvas for vibrant additions of mango and coconut. High fermentation esters of ripe banana and subtle phenolic clove notes from the Weizen yeast intertwine seamlessly with the succulent fruit character. The coconut adds a creamy, exotic depth that rounds out the tropical profile without weighing down the palate. Effervescent and refreshing, it maintains the style's signature fluffy texture while finishing crisp and dry with a lingering hint of tropical stone fruit.
Appearance. Pale straw to light gold (3-5 SRM). Very thick, moussy white head with moderate retention. Characteristically hazy with a soft, matte-like shine from the wheat and fruit proteins.
Aroma. Moderate to high intensity. Prominent fresh mango and sweet coconut aromas are layered over a traditional yeast profile of banana and light clove. Underlying notes of bready, doughy, and grainy wheat malt. Hop aroma is absent.
Taste. The initial impression is defined by lush mango and tropical coconut, followed by soft bready and grainy-sweet Pilsner malt. Mid-palate reveals classic banana and clove fermentation character. Bitterness is very low, well-integrated, and provides just enough balance to prevent a cloying finish. The aftertaste is clean, relatively dry, and features a lingering tropical fruit essence.
Mouthfeel. Medium-light body with a notable fluffy, creamy fullness. High carbonation provides a spritzy, effervescent mouthfeel. No alcohol warmth or astringency.
