This year, the Belgian Lambic brewery has undergone a rebranding and has changed it’s fruit beers to keep with the modern times. Timmermans Kriek Black Pepper is still a good quality, cherry lambic with an almondy dryness with the addition of black pepper. Lambic is a type of beer traditionally brewed in the Pajottenland region of Belgium, near to Brussels. They are spontaneously fermented via wild, airborne yeast and are very rare. Best served between 4-6 degrees Celsius. If you enjoy drinking cherry beers, then this is a modern twist.
