This extreme Eisbock variant, built on an Imperial Stout base, delivers an uncompromising sensory experience born from double barrel aging and freeze-distillation. Aromas of Islay peat, medicinal smoke, and salted caramel surge from the glass, reflecting eighteen months in Isle of Arran and Islay whisky casks. The palate is a viscous, syrupy landscape of dark chocolate, charred oak, and intense spirituous warmth. Despite its staggering 32% ABV, the profile remains surprisingly integrated, offering lingering notes of dried figs and roasted coffee. It is a monumental achievement in concentration, bridging the gap between heavy beer and fine single malt.

Appearance. Opaque, deep ebony to ink-black with dark ruby highlights at the edges. Virtually no head retention due to extreme alcohol concentration; leaves thick, oily legs on the glass.

Aroma. Intense and complex; dominated by heavy peat smoke, iodine, and medicinal notes from Islay barrels. Behind the smoke lie layers of dark chocolate, espresso, vanilla, and dark fruits like raisins and prunes. A significant but not solventy spirituous alcohol presence is constant.

Taste. Explosive initial impression of roasted malts and sweet smoke. Rich flavors of molasses and cocoa are balanced by aggressive peat, charred oak, and earthy whisky notes. The finish is remarkably long and warming, evolving from syrupy sweetness to a parching, spirit-driven dryness. Low hop flavor, but roasted grain provides a firm counterpoint to the residual sugars.

Mouthfeel. Exceptionally full-bodied and viscous, nearly syrupy. Carbonation is very low to still. A powerful, lingering alcohol warmth is pervasive but lacks harshness, creating a velvety, mouth-coating sensation.
