Spellbound is a vibrant Cold IPA that marries the clean, crisp architecture of a German Pils with an aggressive New World hop profile. Cold-fermented for a pristine lager finish, this golden ale showcases an enchanting blend of Columbus, Mosaic, Nelson Sauvin, and Citra. The sensory journey begins with high-intensity aromas of passionfruit from Nelson Sauvin and berry notes from Mosaic, transitioning into a bold grapefruit-led citrus core driven by Citra. While the lean malt backbone provides a structural foundation, it quickly yields to an assertively bitter Columbus finish that remains bone-dry. It is a masterful display of tropical enchantment and refreshing precision.

Appearance. Deep gold (4 SRM) and brilliant clarity with a creamy, long-lasting white head that leaves excellent lacing.

Aroma. High intensity hop-forward bouquet featuring distinct passionfruit, gooseberry, and mixed berry notes, followed by sharp grapefruit and a hint of resin. Low grainy-sweet malt character with a very clean, ester-free fermentation profile.

Taste. Initial malt flavor is a brief flash of toasted cracker before being overcome by intense hop flavors of passionfruit, berry, and grapefruit. Medium-high bitterness is firm and assertive, lingering into a very dry, crisp finish with a clean, minerally aftertaste.

Mouthfeel. Medium-light body with a crisp, refreshing texture. High carbonation accentuates the dryness. Alcohol provides a noticeable but well-integrated warmth without being harsh.
