BrewDog Lost In Guava
This refreshing spin on a classic German Pilsner marries crisp lager tradition with vibrant tropical character. Brewed with continental Pilsner malt and traditional German hops, this bright golden lager is infused with real guava, elevating the clean, cracker-like malt base with intense aromas of ripe tropical pink guava and subtle floral hop undertones. On the palate, the juicy, exotic fruit flavor is sharply balanced by a clean, firm hop bitterness and a highly carbonated, brisk mouthfeel. It finishes remarkably dry and refreshing, making it an exceptionally sessionable fruit-infused lager.
Appearance. Pale straw to light gold with brilliant clarity. Pours with a thick, frothy, long-lasting white head that leaves elegant lacing.
Aroma. Pronounced tropical aroma dominated by fresh, sweet pink guava, closely backed by moderately low herbal and spicy German hop notes. Undertones of grainy, cracker-like Pilsner malt and a pristine, clean lager fermentation profile.
Taste. Opens with an immediate burst of tropical guava fruitiness, quickly followed by light, doughy, cracker malt flavors. A firm, clean hop bitterness swiftly asserts itself, drying out the palate. The balance is bitter and fruit-forward, culminating in a crisp, dry, and highly refreshing finish with lingering notes of guava skin and herbal hops.
Mouthfeel. Medium-light body with crisp, high carbonation that enhances the refreshing qualities. Extremely clean with no astringency or warmth, presenting a light, thirst-quenching bite.
