This refreshing twist on a classic German Pils merges a crisp, clean lager base with a vibrant splash of real fruit. Brewed with Pilsner malt to deliver a delicate, cracker-like backbone, the beer is elevated by a bright infusion of blood orange. On the nose, intense citrus zest and sweet orange flesh mingle harmoniously with subtle herbal and floral hop notes. The palate is sharply refreshing, balancing a clean, dry malt profile with the juicy tartness of blood orange and a firm, lingering hop bitterness. It finishes clean and exceptionally crisp, making for an incredibly sessionable citrus-forward lager.

Appearance. Deep golden with a distinct orange hue (5-6 SRM). Clear to brilliant clarity, topped with a frothy, tight-knit, off-white head that exhibits moderate to good retention and leaves delicate lacing on the glass.

Aroma. High intensity. Dominant aromas of freshly squeezed blood orange, citrus zest, and sweet mandarin. Beneath the fruit lies a clean, low to moderate sweet doughy and cracker-like Pilsner malt character, complemented by a subtle, low background of herbal and floral hops. Extremely clean lager fermentation profile with no diacetyl or sulfur.

Taste. The initial impression is a bright burst of juicy blood orange and zesty citrus tartness, which quickly integrates with a clean, cracker-like Pilsner malt sweetness. Medium-high hop bitterness and crisp carbonation rise to balance the fruit, accompanied by light herbal hop flavors. The finish is highly attenuated, dry, and clean, with a lingering aftertaste of citrus rind and crisp, refreshing bitterness.

Mouthfeel. Medium-light body with a very crisp, refreshing texture. High carbonation provides a lively, tongue-tingling effervescence. Alcohol warmth is absent at 4.5% ABV. No harshness or astringency, though a light, clean, mineral-like crispness defines the finish.
