Electric India presents as a vibrant Specialty IPA that bridges the gap between a Belgian Saison and a New World IPA. The sensory profile is defined by a bright, citrusy punch from Amarillo hops and the distinctive crushed gooseberry and white wine notes of Nelson Sauvin. A complex spice layer emerges from the addition of black pepper and orange peel, supported by the delicate floral sweetness of heather honey. This hybrid creation offers a dry, effervescent character where spicy yeast phenols and pungent tropical hop oils coalesce over a lean malt base, finishing with a crisp, refreshing bitterness.

Appearance. Pale gold to light amber with a slight haze. Large, frothy white head with excellent persistence and significant lacing.

Aroma. High intensity. Dominant aromas of fresh orange zest and tropical fruit (mango, melon) from Amarillo, paired with the vinous, grape-like character of Nelson Sauvin. Notable spicy black pepper phenols and a subtle, sweet floral honey note. Low crackery malt character in the background.

Taste. Initial citrus and tropical fruit flavors are quickly followed by a sharp, peppery spice. Firm hop bitterness is balanced by a very dry, crisp finish. The heather honey provides a light floral mid-palate without adding significant sweetness. The aftertaste is clean with lingering notes of grapefruit peel and white pepper.

Mouthfeel. Medium-light body with high, prickly carbonation. Effervescent and refreshing on the palate. Very low alcohol warmth that is well-integrated. No astringency.
