This 2022 vintage Imperial Stout presents a masterful intersection of barrel-aged complexity and decadent malt depth. Having spent 11 months in Irish grain whisky barrels, it exudes a sophisticated character defined by its oily, dense viscosity and deep chocolate core. The extended maturation integrates the 12.6% ABV into a smooth, warming experience rather than a sharp heat. Expect layers of bittersweet cocoa and toasted grain, harmonized with the soft vanilla and honeyed oak influences of the grain whisky casks. This is a slow-sipping, meditative beer where the roast provides a sturdy backbone to the luscious, spirit-forward nuances, resulting in a harmonious, lingering finish.

Appearance. Jet black and opaque (SRM 40+); features a thin but persistent deep tan head with low retention; high viscosity is evident through thick legs on the glass.
