This American IPA presents a modern, lush sensory profile driven by the synergy of Citra and Riwaka hops. The experience is defined by an explosion of tropical fruit, specifically ripe passionfruit and pungent pink grapefruit, underpinned by a distinctive lime zest and subtle diesel note characteristic of the Riwaka variety. While the appearance is distinctly hazy, the palate remains true to the style with a firm, clean bitterness that balances the soft malt core. Citra provides a bright citrus foundation that lingers into a dry, resinous finish, making this 7% ale remarkably vibrant and hop-forward without being overly heavy.

Appearance. Deep gold to pale orange with a persistent, dense white head and excellent lacing. The beer exhibits a significant, opaque haze consistent with modern hazy interpretations, yet stays within traditional color boundaries.

Aroma. High to intense hop aroma. Dominant notes of passionfruit, grapefruit, and crushed lime from the Citra and Riwaka additions. A light, sweet, grainy malt scent provides a clean backdrop, while very low fermentation esters of peach and melon are present. No diacetyl or DMS.

Taste. A high-intensity hop flavor mirrors the aroma, leading with citrus peel, tropical melon, and a sharp, resinous punch. The malt provides a low-intensity bready support. Bitterness is firm and clean, leading to a medium-dry finish that emphasizes the hop oils over malt sweetness. The aftertaste is long and hoppy.
