Brew York X-Panda is a bright and punchy American IPA that leans into a contemporary hop profile featuring Sabro, Citra, Simcoe, and Mosaic. Despite its sessionable strength, it delivers a high-intensity sensory experience. The aroma is led by Sabro’s signature cream and coconut, followed quickly by the tropical mango and stone fruit notes of Mosaic. Citra adds sharp citrus highlights of grapefruit and lime, while Simcoe provides a grounded resinous pine foundation. On the palate, a clean, grainy malt backbone supports a firm bitterness, leading to a crisp, dry finish that emphasizes refreshing hop complexity over sweetness.
Appearance. Medium gold (6 SRM) with a slight haze. Topped by a medium-sized, white, persistent head with significant lacing.
Aroma. High intensity hop aroma featuring prominent coconut and cream from Sabro, tropical mango and berries from Mosaic, and bright grapefruit zest from Citra. A supporting resinous, piney note from Simcoe is present, alongside very low, clean, grainy maltiness.
Taste. High hop flavor echoing the aroma's tropical, citrus, and coconut profile. Medium-high hop bitterness is firm but clean, supported by a low, bready malt character. The finish is dry to medium-dry with a lingering resinous and fruity aftertaste.
Mouthfeel. Medium-light body with a smooth texture. Medium-high carbonation. No alcohol warmth or harshness.
