This Hazy IPA offers a unique breakfast-inspired profile, utilizing strawberry cream fruit tea leaves from Hebden Tea to create an aromatic, berry-forward experience. The sensory journey is defined by intense strawberry notes and a soft, creamy character enhanced by the addition of lactose. While traditional tropical and citrus hop notes provide a supportive backdrop, the focus remains on the comforting fruit tea infusion and subtle tea tannins. The result is a lush, opaque pour that balances the juicy expectations of the style with a smooth, jammy fruitiness and a gentle, rounded finish that reflects its celebratory intent.

Appearance. Pours a deep straw to light golden-orange (4-6 SRM) with a significant, opaque haze. It features a dense, meringue-like white head with high retention and thick lacing.

Aroma. High intensity aroma dominated by fresh, ripe strawberry and sweet cream. Beneath the fruit tea infusion, subtle notes of tropical mango and citrus hops emerge. The malt is neutral and bready, while the tea provides a faint, earthy herbal quality without any harshness.

Taste. The initial impression is a burst of strawberry jam and sweet cream, supported by a low to medium-low perceived bitterness. Hop flavors of stone fruit and citrus are present but secondary to the fruit tea. Lactose provides an off-dry, milky sweetness that carries the berry flavors into a soft, smooth finish with a hint of drying tea tannins.

Mouthfeel. Medium-full body with a notable creaminess from the lactose. Carbonation is moderate, contributing to a soft, pillowy texture. No alcohol warmth is present; it remains smooth and approachable with a very light tannic grip in the aftertaste.
