This collaboration pours a distinctive hazy pale gold, signaling a departure from traditional clarity toward a juicier profile. The sensory experience is dominated by a deliberate pairing of Belma and Simcoe hops. Belma introduces unique notes of sweet strawberry and ripe melon, while Simcoe provides a resonant counterpoint of passionfruit and subtle forest pine. Supported by a clean, grainy malt backbone, the palate is awash with tropical fruit flavors and a moderate, crisp bitterness. It finishes smooth and refreshing, perfectly balanced for easy drinking.
Appearance. SRM 5-7. Hazy pale gold to light amber. Moderately large, persistent white head with dense lacing and good retention.
Aroma. High intensity hop aroma featuring distinct strawberry and melon from the Belma hops, layered with passionfruit and resinous pine from the Simcoe. Low neutral to grainy maltiness supports the fruit, with a clean fermentation profile and no noticeable diacetyl.
Taste. Initial impression is hop-forward with a wave of tropical fruit and red berry flavors. Hop bitterness is moderate and well-balanced by a low bready malt character. The fermentation is clean, allowing the pine and citrus hop flavors to linger into a medium-dry and crisp finish.
Mouthfeel. Medium body with a soft, smooth texture typical of hazy variations. Moderate carbonation provides a refreshing lift without any astringency or harshness. No perceived alcohol warmth.
