Inspired by the icy realm of Niflheim, Dragon’s Bite is a Hazy IPA that balances a soft, ethereal texture with vibrant fruit intensity. The use of expressive Kveik yeast from the Kveik Yeastery drives a complex fermentation profile that amplifies the beer’s tropical nature. Expect a vivid sensory journey led by distinct notes of ripe green melon and succulent white grape, seamlessly woven into a juicy, sun-drenched backdrop. This collaboration with Haand Bryggeriet delivers a smooth, pillowy mouthfeel and a restrained bitterness, ensuring the bold fruit-forward esters remain the primary focus from the first sip to the clean, off-dry finish.

Appearance. Pale gold (SRM 4-5) with a deep, opaque haze that creates a luminous shine. Topped by a dense, meringue-like white head with excellent retention and thick, persistent lacing.

Aroma. High intensity aroma dominated by tropical fruit esters and hop oils. Pronounced notes of honeydew melon and white grape are layered over mango and citrus. Background malt is subtle and grainy, like fresh flour or light bread, supporting the expressive Kveik fermentation character.

Taste. Explodes with high-intensity flavors of ripe melon and juicy grape, supported by a tropical fruit medley. The malt provides a low, neutral bready foundation. Bitterness is moderate and exceptionally smooth, never becoming harsh. The fermentation character is clean yet ester-forward, leading to a soft, juicy, and slightly off-dry finish.

Mouthfeel. Medium-full body with a soft, pillowy, and velvety texture. Carbonation is moderate, enhancing the juicy sensation without prickly harshness. Very low alcohol warmth, well-integrated for the ABV.
