Aroma. Moderate to high intensity dominated by distinct coffee-like roast and dark cocoa. Secondary notes of toasted grain and bittersweet chocolate provide depth. Esters are low, and hop aroma is absent, allowing the pure roasted grain character to lead the profile.

Taste. Initial impression is one of clean, roasted bitterness. Deep flavors of unsweetened cocoa and cold-brew coffee are supported by a backbone of bready malt.
