Brew Toon Shark Bait reimagines the classic German Pils as a vibrant, citrus-forward lager. Infused with citrus peel and a contemporary hop bill of Citra and Sorachi Ace, it delivers an aromatic wave of fresh grapefruit and zesty lemon. These New World hop cues dance over a lean, crackery malt base, providing a shark bite of refreshing bitterness. Cold-conditioned for peak clarity and a sharp, crispy finish, the beer maintains a clean fermentation profile while emphasizing a bright, summery hop character. It is a light, sessionable interpretation of the style, where traditional European precision meets the bold intensities of modern hop varieties.

Appearance. Straw to pale gold (2–4 SRM); brilliant clarity with a creamy, long-lasting white head and excellent lacing.

Aroma. High intensity hop character featuring prominent fresh lemon, grapefruit, and zesty citrus peel. Underpinned by a low grainy-sweet and doughy Pilsner malt aroma. Clean fermentation profile without sulfur or esters.

Taste. Initial light grainy-sweet malt flavor is quickly overtaken by a sharp, citrusy hop bite. Flavors of lemon zest and grapefruit pith dominate the mid-palate. Medium-high bitterness that is firm but clean. The finish is very dry and crisp with a lingering minerally snap and a touch of hop resin.

Mouthfeel. Medium-light body with high carbonation. Very refreshing and crisp; no alcohol warmth is perceived. Clean, thin-to-medium mouthfeel without any astringency.
