Appearance. Deep reddish-orange to crimson hue (12-18 SRM) with a slight haze from fruit solids and lactose; produces a modest, pink-tinted head with moderate retention and light lacing.

Aroma. High intensity; dominant notes of zesty blood orange and sweet black cherry are layered over a clean lactic tartness. Subtle doughy malt and a hint of boozy warmth are present, with minimal hop character.

Taste. Initial impression is sharply tart and sherbet-like, quickly followed by a wave of sweet black cherry and fizzy orange fruitiness. Lactose provides a persistent sweetness that balances the acidity. Hop bitterness is nearly absent, allowing the fruit and fermentation acids to lead into a lingering, creamy, and boozy fruit finish.

Mouthfeel. Medium-full body with a notable creaminess from the lactose; high carbonation provides a fizzy, prickly sensation. Noticeable alcohol warmth is well-integrated but present.
