Yard Games is a vibrant, sessionable Hazy IPA designed for high-impact refreshment. It showcases the distinctive profile of 100% Nectaron hops, delivering an intense sensory experience of ripe peach, passionfruit, and bright pineapple. This single-hop showcase avoids fillers, allowing the pure tropical and stone fruit character of the Nectaron variety to shine against a soft, grainy-sweet malt backdrop. Despite its lower alcohol content, it maintains a lush, saturated hop presence typical of the style. The result is a luminous, juicy ale with a smooth, pillowy texture and a crisp, approachable finish that defines the quintessential summer crusher.
Appearance. Straw to light gold (3-5 SRM). Hazy and luminous with a nearly opaque clarity. Features a thick, rocky, meringue-like white head with high retention and beautiful lacing.
Aroma. High intensity hop aroma dominated by stone fruit (peach, nectarine) and tropical notes of pineapple and passionfruit. Clean, lightly bready and grainy malt in the background. Neutral fermentation profile with supportive fruity esters and no grassy or herbal notes.
Taste. High fruity hop flavor mirroring the aroma with vivid peach and tropical juice. Low, bready malt flavor provides a soft foundation. Low to medium-low perceived bitterness that is soft and non-lingering. Finishes off-dry and smooth with a clean, fruity aftertaste and no hop harshness.
Mouthfeel. Medium-light to medium body with a soft, pillowy texture. Moderate carbonation. Smooth and approachable with no alcohol warmth or astringency.
