BrauStil YuzuStyle reimagines the classic German Pils as a vibrant, citrus-forward refresher. This golden lager balances a clean, grainy base of Pilsner and CaraPils malts with the traditional herbal and spicy signatures of Tettnanger and Hallertauer Perle hops. The hallmark of this expression is the infusion of Japanese yuzu, which provides an aromatic punch of exotic citrus and bright mandarin. The fermentation is exceptionally clean, allowing the interplay between noble hop bitterness and tart fruit to shine. It concludes with a crisp, dry finish and a lingering zestiness, offering a playful yet technically precise take on a traditional style.

Appearance. Brilliant gold to deep yellow (approx. 4 SRM) with a creamy, long-lasting white head and excellent clarity.

Aroma. High intensity of exotic yuzu and mandarin citrus, layered over moderate floral and spicy hop notes from Tettnanger and Hallertauer Perle. Low grainy-sweet malt character with a hint of toasted cracker and a clean fermentation profile.

Taste. Initial crisp malt and bright citrus flavors of yuzu and mandarin are quickly met by a moderate hop bitterness. The Pilsner malt provides a light bready foundation. Finishes very dry and clean with a lingering citrus zest and herbal hop aftertaste.

Mouthfeel. Medium-light body with high carbonation that enhances the refreshing, effervescent quality. No alcohol warmth; crisp and sharp without being harsh or astringent.
