Appearance. Deep brown to opaque black (SRM 35+). Features a thick, creamy, and persistent tan head with excellent lacing. Clarity is opaque.

Aroma. Moderate to high intensity. Dominant aromas of roasted coffee and dark chocolate with a distinct coffee-and-cream sweetness. Low earthy hop notes and a faint, nutty graininess from the oatmeal. Subtle dark fruit esters are present.

Taste. Initial impression of rich, roasted malts, transitioning into flavors of milk chocolate and toasted oats. A medium bitterness provides balance without being harsh. The finish is medium-dry with a lingering aftertaste of roasted grain and a touch of nuttiness. Fermentation is clean with very low esters.
