Dreams 21 is a monumental Eisbock that pushes the boundaries of concentration, merging a specially brewed Barleywine with the brewery’s Hagger base. The result of freeze-distillation at extreme temperatures is an opulent, viscous liquid defined by deep layers of dark fruit, toffee, and rich Maillard complexity. Barrel aging introduces refined notes of oak and vanillin that weave through a dense tapestry of caramelized malts. At nearly twenty percent alcohol, the warmth is profound yet surprisingly integrated, offering a luxurious, slow-sipping experience. This is a decadent sensory journey where the essence of a fortified wine meets the robust, toasted heart of a masterfully concentrated dark lager.

Appearance. Deep mahogany to dark opaque brown with brilliant ruby highlights. The head is minimal to nonexistent due to the extreme gravity, leaving an oily sheen and pronounced, viscous legs on the glass.

Aroma. High intensity and deeply complex. Dominant aromas of rich, bready malt, dark caramel, and toasted bread crusts are layered with intense dark fruit notes of dried plums, figs, and raisins. The barrel aging contributes distinct aromas of vanilla and toasted oak, while the alcohol presence is significant, clean, and vinous.

Taste. An explosion of rich, sweet malt and concentrated Maillard products. Flavors of dark toffee, molasses, and a hint of dark chocolate are balanced by a massive alcohol presence and subtle oak tannins.
