This American IPA radiates a luminous sand-orange glow, releasing an intense sensory bouquet of ripe oranges, mandarins, and sweet honeydew melon. The profile is expertly driven by a double dry-hopping of Cascade, Centennial, and Crystal hops, which layers bright citrus over deep resinous notes. A supportive malt backbone featuring Munich malt offers subtle toasted bread accents that balance the assertive 75 IBU bitterness. Initially, the palate is greeted with a soft, fruit-forward texture before transitioning into a firm, pine-forward finish. It is a complex, hop-forward experience where pomelo zest and floral spice linger with patient, refreshing persistence.
Appearance. Luminous sand-orange color (approx. 9-11 SRM) with a slight haze. Topped by a dense, persistent off-white head that leaves significant lacing on the glass.
Aroma. High intensity hop-forward aroma featuring prominent notes of mandarin, pomelo, and sweet honeydew melon. Underlying hints of pine and floral spice are supported by a clean, light bready malt character with a touch of toasted grain and very low esters.
Taste. Bold citrus flavors of orange and grapefruit dominate the initial impression. The malt profile provides a medium-low toasted and light caramel backbone.
