This Belgian Blond Ale presents a sophisticated profile that leans toward the richness of a Triple while maintaining the approachable balance of its style. Brewed with pale and lightly colored malts, it offers a refined grainy-sweet base with hints of honey. The use of English hops introduces a distinctive floral and slightly vegetal character, diverging from traditional continental spice toward more herbal elegance. A delicate yeast profile of lemon zest and white pepper emerges alongside a clean fermentation character. At 7% ABV, it carries a smooth, warming presence that finishes medium-dry, leaving a lingering impression of spring flowers and toasted grain.
Appearance. Deep yellow to deep gold color (SRM 4-6). It is very clear with a large, dense, and creamy white head that exhibits excellent retention and classic Belgian lacing.
Aroma. Moderate intensity featuring grainy-sweet and slightly toasty pale malt. Distinctive floral and earthy English hop notes are present. Subtle fruity esters of orange and lemon are balanced by background spicy-peppery phenols and a light, perfumy alcohol warmth.
Taste. Initial impression of grainy-sweet malt and faint honey-like sweetness. The hop flavor is floral and earthy, supported by a medium bitterness that allows the malt to remain slightly more prominent in the balance. Nuanced yeast character provides orange esters and slight peppery phenols. It finishes medium-dry to dry, smooth and soft, with a clean aftertaste of light malt.
Mouthfeel. Medium body with high carbonation providing a mouth-filling, bubbly sensation. Features light to moderate alcohol warmth that is well-integrated and smooth, with a slightly creamy texture.
