This Hazy IPA celebrates the vibrant synergy between a massive Nectaron addition and a strategic touch of Mosaic. The sensory profile is defined by a deep saturation of stone fruit, specifically ripe nectarine and golden peach, alongside tropical splashes of passion fruit. The Mosaic hops provide a delicate counterpoint of blueberry and soft citrus zest. The appearance is characteristically opaque with a luminous shine, supporting an aroma of high intensity. A pillowy, soft body ensures the hop flavors glide across the palate with minimal bitterness, finishing with a lingering, juicy fruitiness and a clean, bready malt backbone.
Appearance. Straw to light orange color (4 SRM) with a deep, opaque haze that gives the beer a luminous shine. Topped with a rocky, meringue-like white head that demonstrates high retention and leaves dense lacing.
Aroma. High intensity hop aroma dominated by stone fruit (nectarine, peach) and tropical notes (pineapple, passion fruit). Subtle nuances of blueberry and citrus zest from the yeast and hop interaction. Low bready malt in the background with a clean, neutral fermentation profile.
Taste. High to very high fruity hop flavor featuring nectarine, mango, and a hint of berry. Low bready and grainy malt flavor provides a soft platform. Bitterness is low to medium, integrated and never sharp. The finish is off-dry and smooth, with a lingering tropical fruit aftertaste and no harshness.
Mouthfeel. Medium-full, pillowy body with a soft, velvety texture. Moderate carbonation. Very light alcohol warmth is present but well-integrated. No astringency or raw starchiness.
