Brasserie Jukebox Calypso is a vibrant Wild Specialty Beer that balances a sharp kettle-soured acidity with a tropical trio of fruit. Built on a wheat-forward malt base, it opens with an aromatic explosion of Guava and Passion Fruit, underscored by the tart, red-berry depth of Raspberry. The sensory experience is defined by its vivid lactic acidity and a dry, refreshing profile. Expect a clean fermentation character that allows the fruit's natural esters to shine against a crisp, cereal-like backdrop of froment. This sessionable ale finishes lean and bright, evoking sun-drenched orchards and tropical escapes with every effervescent sip.

Appearance. Pours a hazy, pale pinkish-gold (4-6 SRM) influenced by the raspberry addition. Features a moderate, white to light-pink head with fair retention that eventually fades to a fine rim of lacing.

Aroma. High aromatic intensity featuring a complex blend of tropical guava and tangy passion fruit. Secondary notes of fresh raspberry provide a floral, tart lift. Malt aroma is very low, presenting as a faint, clean wheat breadiness. Clean lactic sourness is evident, with no hop aroma or phenols.

Taste. Initial impression is a sharp, clean lactic tang. Guava and passion fruit dominate the mid-palate, followed by a subtle, seedy raspberry tartness. Malt flavor is low, characterized by soft cereal and wheat notes. Hop bitterness is nearly absent, as the acidity provides the balance. The finish is bone-dry and crisp, with a lingering fruit-skin character and a clean, acidic snap.

Mouthfeel. Light body with a refreshing, prickly high carbonation. No alcohol warmth is perceived at 4% ABV. A very slight fruit-derived astringency enhances the dry sensation without being harsh or puckering.

Ils sont partis sur la même base malté que la Liquid Sunshine mais cette fois-ci, la base est la goyave. Ils ont rajouté une grande quantité de frmaboise et de passion pour obtenir des notes tropicales. L’attaque vive du kettle sour laisse vite la place à un mix fruité tout en subtilité.
