Utilizing Cascade hops, the beer delivers an intense aromatic bouquet of exotic fruits, passion fruit, and guava. The brewer's intent to showcase thiols is evident in the distinct layers of cassis and blackcurrant, alongside a pungent, cannabis-like vegetal dankness. Despite its moderate bitterness, the beer maintains a hop-forward balance over a clean, lean malt backbone. It finishes dry and crisp, allowing the tropical and dank nuances to linger without being overshadowed by heavy malt or aggressive bitterness.
Appearance. Medium gold with brilliant clarity. The head is medium-sized, white, and persistent with light lacing.
Aroma. High hop intensity featuring prominent tropical fruit, passion fruit, and guava. Significant thiol-derived cassis and blackcurrant notes are present, alongside a distinct cannabis-like vegetal aroma. Malt is low and clean.
Taste. Hop-forward flavors of exotic fruit and blackcurrant. Low, grainy malt sweetness is quickly overtaken by a moderate hop bitterness. The finish is dry and clean with a lingering fruity and slightly dank aftertaste.
Mouthfeel. Medium-light body with a smooth texture. Carbonation is medium-high, and there is no perceptible alcohol warmth or harshness.
