The sensory journey begins with an evocative bouquet of dark red fruits and toasted bread, layered with subtle vanilla from a Bourbon quarter cask and a whisper of maple syrup. On the palate, the vinous tannins from the Bordeaux wood provide a structured counterpoint to deep toffee notes, while the elevated alcohol delivers a slow, comforting warmth. It finishes remarkably dry, leaving a lingering trail of earthy maple and dried currants.
