Nuke Mars is a vibrant Hazy IPA that exemplifies the style’s signature juicy character through a deliberate pairing of Talus and Amarillo hops. The sensory experience begins with an intense tropical explosion of pink grapefruit and dried rose petals, underpinned by the bright, zesty orange and lemon notes characteristic of Amarillo. On the palate, a velvety, medium-full body carries lush flavors of stone fruit and subtle resinous pine without harsh bitterness. The finish is soft and off-dry, highlighting a clean, bready malt backbone. This beer offers a sophisticated balance of floral complexity and citrus punch, delivering a smooth and profoundly aromatic profile.
Appearance. Straw to deep gold (4–6 SRM). Opaque with a luminous, hazy shine. Features a thick, rocky, meringue-like white head with high retention and beautiful lacing.
Aroma. High intensity hop aroma featuring distinct notes of pink grapefruit, sage, and dried roses from the Talus, alongside sweet orange and citrus zest from the Amarillo. Background malt is clean and bready; fermentation esters are present as subtle peach and apricot.
Taste. Initial impression of tropical juice and citrus. High hop flavor mirrors the aroma with layers of orange, grapefruit, and a hint of tropical stone fruit. Low to medium-high perceived bitterness that is well-masked by the soft malt profile. Finishes smooth and off-dry with a lingering fruity aftertaste and no hop harshness.
