Brass Castle’s Seaduced offers a coastal reimagining of the classic American Pale Ale. At 4.6% ABV, it presents a delicate balance of crisp pale malts and subtle New World hop character. The addition of North Sea kelp harvested by SeaGrown introduces a unique, savory saline depth that complements the style's inherent citrus and pine notes. This sea-born minerality bridges the gap between the clean, grainy malt base and the moderate bitterness, resulting in a refreshing and highly drinkable ale. The finish is remarkably crisp, where the umami touch of seaweed enhances the lingering hop spice without overpowering the bright, pale ale profile.

Mouthfeel. Medium-light body with moderate to high carbonation that provides a prickly, refreshing texture. No alcohol warmth is perceived at this strength, and the finish is smooth with a very slight mineral crispness and no astringency.

Brass Castle is firmly established in Malton, North Yorkshire, with customers around the UK and overseas. We love what we do, and we’re very grateful to be cheered on our way by our local community. Like any small brewery, we’re bursting at the seams and could always do with more space. Brass Castle has recently begun developing kombucha recipes to join the beer line-up and we would very much like to enhance our Taphouse with food offerings and more space for community events.
