BramBrass Dark Knight is a sophisticated Belgian Dark Strong Ale, often referred to as a Quadrupel, presenting a deep copper-brown hue. The sensory experience is defined by a complex interplay of rich, toasty malt and deep dark fruit esters reminiscent of raisins, plums, and dried cherries. Despite its robust 10% ABV, the beer maintains an approachable and easy-drinking character. Subtle spicy phenols of black pepper and vanilla provide depth, while a soft, perfumy alcohol warmth integrates into the medium-bodied frame. The finish is remarkably smooth, balancing malt sweetness with a gentle dryness that invites another sip, showcasing classic Belgian craftsmanship.

Appearance. Deep coppery-brown (approximately 20 SRM) with brilliant clarity. It features a huge, dense, moussy, and persistent light tan-colored head that leaves significant lacing.

Aroma. High intensity and deeply complex. The nose is dominated by rich, bready-toasty malt and dark caramel notes without roasted character. Strong esters provide layers of raisins, plums, and figs. Subtle spicy phenols, specifically black pepper and a hint of vanilla, complement a low, perfumy alcohol presence. Hops are not noticeable.

Taste. A rich and complex malt-forward initial impression featuring dark fruit flavors like dates and dried cherries. The malt character is toasty and caramel-like. Bitterness is medium-low, providing just enough balance to the malt richness. The finish is moderately dry and smooth, avoiding any syrupy or heavy aftertaste despite the high gravity.

Mouthfeel. Medium-bodied with a smooth, creamy texture. High carbonation provides a lively lift on the palate without being sharp or prickly. A noticeable yet well-integrated and soft alcohol warmth is present.
