The Sixth Glass is a masterful Belgian Dark Strong Ale that pours a deep auburn with a dense, tan head. This Quadrupel offers a sophisticated sensory journey, leading with a complex aroma of dark caramel, toasted bread, and rich esters of plum, raisin, and fig. Hints of spicy black pepper and vanilla from the Belgian yeast mingle with a soft, perfumed alcohol presence. On the palate, the malt richness is profound yet balanced by a deceptive sweetness that gives way to a surprisingly dry finish. It is a full-bodied and mysterious libation where the high alcohol is elegantly integrated, offering warmth without harshness.

Appearance. Deep auburn to coppery-brown with a massive, dense, and persistent light tan moussy head. Excellent clarity with brilliant ruby highlights when held to the light.

Aroma. Intense and complex. The malt presents deep bready-toasty notes and rich dark caramel. Prominent esters of dried cherry, raisin, and prune are layered with subtle spicy phenols reminiscent of black pepper and vanilla. A refined, spicy alcohol aroma is present but smooth.

Taste. A rich, malty-rich initial impression features dark fruit, fig, and burnt sugar. The sweetness is deceptive, as the beer finishes moderately dry. Bitterness is medium-low, providing just enough structure. Flavors of dark stone fruit and a spicy yeast character linger in a harmonious, clean finish.
