Red Rover presents an opulent evolution of the American Amber Ale, elevated by an intensive barrel-aging program. The base malt’s caramel-driven profile is transformed by Michter bourbon barrels, imparting a rich, toasted vanilla and bourbon-soaked oak character. The addition of cassia bark introduces a warm, earthy spice that intertwines with the subtle tannins of French Oak. Despite the massive 11.3% ABV, the beer maintains a sophisticated balance where the sweetness of the malt and the spicy, woody nuances of the wood-aging process take center stage, creating a complex, warming, and deeply layered sensory experience reminiscent of autumn forest floors and high-end spirits.
