Food Buddies is a vibrant Double IPA that showcases an expertly layered hop profile from the collaboration between Bottle Logic and Other Half. The aroma is an explosive tropical bouquet where Nectaron drives intense notes of sun-ripened peach and pineapple. Mosaic adds depth with layers of papaya and subtle berry, while Motueka provides a bright, zesty lime finish. Despite its strength, the palate remains remarkably drinkable with a soft, fluffy texture typical of modern hazy interpretations. This beer balances high hop saturation with a smooth, medium-full body, finishing with a clean, lingering fruit essence and minimal bitterness.

Appearance. 4–7 SRM. Opaque, hazy golden straw with a dense, persistent white head that leaves intricate lacing on the glass.

Aroma. High intensity tropical fruit including pineapple and papaya. Strong stone fruit presence of peach from Nectaron hops. Distinct citrus lime notes from Motueka. Background of Mosaic-derived berry and light resin. Low, neutral grainy malt.

Taste. Tropical fruit forward with immediate pineapple, peach, and lime. Mosaic provides a complex berry and floral character. Moderately firm but smooth hop bitterness. Low, soft malt support. Finish is medium-dry with a long, fruity, hop-saturated aftertaste.

Mouthfeel. Medium-full body with a soft, creamy, and fluffy texture. Moderate carbonation. Well-integrated, restrained alcohol warmth. No hop-derived astringency.
