Arborescence is a monumental Imperial Stout that showcases the amplified wood influence of small-format bourbon barrels from R6 Distilling and FEW Spirits. This concentrated contact delivers intense layers of charred oak, rich vanilla, and gooey caramel that dominate the senses. Deeply roasted malt provides a sturdy canvas for the additions of earthy summer blackberries and a smooth, oily hazelnut richness. We hebben een gedurfde stevige basis gebouwd om te laten rijpen in 15-gallon bourbonvaten van R6 Distilling uit Los Angeles en FEW Spirits uit Evanston, Illinois. Waar onze typische bourbonvaten van 53 gallon hints van eikenhout, vanille, karamel en slechts een scheutje bourbon-spirit toevoegen aan een afgewerkt bier, versterkt het grotere contactoppervlak van vloeistof met hout in deze mengelmoes van kleine vaten deze rijke smaken en zorgt voor een vat-voorwaarts eindproduct met een alcoholpercentage van 15,21%. We hebben op elegante wijze gebruik gemaakt van zorgvuldig geselecteerde toevoegingen om dit zeldzame vatkarakter aan te vullen. Zomerbramen weven een aardse, subtiele zoetheid door de vloeistof. Een afwerkingsfilter van hazelnoten voegt een zachte, nootachtige diepte toe. Een zwak laagje piment maakt het stuk af met een bijna onmerkbare nuance.
