This American Stout is a bold, jet-black ale that bridges the gap between traditional dry stouts and the decadent richness of a pastry stout. The sensory experience is dominated by an intense aroma of roasted coffee beans and bittersweet dark chocolate, complemented by a distinctively American hop profile featuring resinous and citrusy notes. On the palate, the 7.6% ABV provides a smooth, integrated warmth that carries flavors of charred grain and caramel. It offers a medium-full, creamy body and a firm bitterness that ensures a clean, lingering finish, providing a robust and complex alternative to lighter Irish stouts.
Appearance. Jet black (38 SRM) and opaque; features a large, persistent light tan head with excellent lacing.
