Spoiler Alert is a punchy Hazy IPA that showcases a vibrant and complex hop profile. The heavy use of Mosaic hops delivers distinct splashes of ripe mixed berries, while Simcoe contributes deep layers of tropical passionfruit and subtle, grounding hints of resinous forest pine. At 7% ABV, this beer presents a golden, opaque pour with a lush, velvety mouthfeel that effectively softens the impact of its moderate bitterness. The sensory experience is dominated by these New World hop aromatics, supported by a clean, bready malt backbone. Appearance. Pours a hazy, opaque straw to deep gold (4–6 SRM). It features a persistent, rocky, meringue-like white head with excellent lacing. The opacity provides a characteristic 'shine' without appearing murky or containing visible particulates.
Aroma. High intensity hop aroma featuring prominent notes of blueberry and raspberry from Mosaic, complemented by tropical passionfruit and a breath of resinous pine from Simcoe. Mouthfeel. Medium-full, lush body with a smooth, soft texture. Carbonation is moderate. A light, well-integrated alcohol warmth is noticeable given the 7% ABV, providing a substantial feel without being hot. No astringency or raw starchiness is present.
