Bojak Brewing False Confidence is a vibrant Hazy IPA that leads with a powerful aromatic display of tropical and stone fruits. The strategic dry hop combination of Citra, Galaxy, and Amarillo delivers an intense bouquet of passionfruit, ripe peach, and bright citrus. On the palate, the hop character is primary and juicy, supported by a soft, bready malt base that provides a subtle sweetness. This medium-bodied ale balances its high fruit expression with a restrained, low bitterness, finishing with a smooth, lingering fruitiness that highlights the interplay between the New World hops and a clean fermentation profile.
Appearance. Straw to light gold (3-5 SRM). Hazy, nearly opaque with a luminous shine. Thick, meringue-like white head with high retention and persistent lacing.
Aroma. High intensity. Dominant tropical fruit (passionfruit), stone fruit (peach), and citrus notes from the Citra, Galaxy, and Amarillo hops. Low, neutral grainy malt sweetness in the background with a subtle, supportive fruity ester profile.
Taste. High fruity hop flavors echoing the aroma of passionfruit and citrus. Low to medium-low grainy and bready malt flavor provides a soft foundation. Low perceived bitterness that is smooth and well-integrated. The finish is off-dry to slightly sweet with a lingering, clean fruit aftertaste.
Mouthfeel. Medium-full body with a soft, pillowy, and smooth texture. Moderate carbonation. Very light, well-integrated alcohol warmth. No harshness or astringency.
