This modern West Coast IPA offers a vibrant sensory journey, driven by a punchy hop profile and a lean malt structure. The aroma is dominated by a complex blend of Mosaic, Mosaic Cryo, and Strata, which deliver intense notes of ripe berries and tropical passionfruit. These fruity layers are grounded by a signature resinous dankness contributed by Columbus hops. On the palate, the experience is defined by a firm, assertive bitterness and a remarkably dry finish, allowing the hop character to remain crisp and refreshing. It is a quintessential American IPA that balances new-age aromatics with a classic, high-attenuation finish.
Appearance. Medium gold to light amber in color with brilliant clarity. Features a medium-sized, persistent white head with excellent lacing.
Aroma. High intensity hop aroma with prominent notes of passionfruit, blueberry, and tropical fruit, complemented by a pungent, resinous dankness. Low, clean, grainy maltiness is present in the background. Clean fermentation profile.
Taste. Initial impression is hop-forward with high hop flavor echoing the berry and tropical notes from the aroma. Low grainy-sweet malt flavor. Firm bitterness that is clean and lacks harshness. Finishes very dry and crisp with a lingering hoppy, bitter aftertaste.
Mouthfeel. Medium-light body with a smooth, slightly oily texture from the hop oils. Medium-high carbonation. Very light, well-integrated alcohol warmth with no detectable astringency.
